Eggrything, Eggrywhere, All at Once

Eggrything, Eggrywhere, All at Once is a short film part of Film.Monks' Emotional Eats series. It was created during my internship alongside other interns and the in-house production team. Inspired by Everything, Everywhere, All at Once, this short video starred an egg as the central character. Each intern contributed to specific roles, with my primary focus on prop and set design.

Eggrything, Eggrywhere, All At Once follows an egg on a journey of self-discovery. Through rough breakups, some questionable life decisions and wild adventures, before finally reuniting with his egg girlfriend.

The film’s visuals draw inspiration from the movie Everything, Everywhere, All At Once and a viral video of an egg falling off a table, which can be seen here.

Behind the Scenes

To create the short film, we experimented with using the AI image generator: Midjourney throughout the process— from generating ideas, and crafting mockups to the final backgrounds. Working together with the in-house production team at Film.Monks allowed us to bring our vision to life with the help of skilled professionals. We experimented with countless egg takes, built detailed sets, and refined every detail to achieve the final look.

Below can be seen some of the many images generated from egg prompts we used in Midjourney.
