It’s a hot summer day, blue skies and the deafening sounds of cicadas when Elizabeth, a young university student, is found dead in the motel’s pool. The sudden death causes a stir through the inhabitants of the rundown motel’s rooms, as they explore the last hours of Elizabeth, suspect each other and learn the chilling history of the motel.
What happened to Elizabeth? What motive did the killer have against her? What lurks in the halls of the motel? Why does the motel owner refuse to discuss the history of his building?

This project is about developing a visual podcast concept about a murder mystery set in a motel. The goal was to explore character design, while creating visuals that complement podcast storytelling in my unique style.
The character design reflects a diverse cast from various backgrounds, all converging at this motel, inviting viewers to explore their stories and speculate on their roles as potential suspects.
