The 10 Commandments of Sustainability
During my internship at .Monks Amsterdam, I led the "10 Commandments of Sustainability" project, creating a poster that was displayed throughout the .Monks building and promoted on the Film.Monks Instagram account.
Later, at the request of the department lead, I created an AR filter quiz for the project, aligning with Film.Monks' growing focus on AR and AI technologies at the time.
The Poster
The project began with a 3D model designed to mirror the industrial style of the .Monks building in Amsterdam, where containers serve as meeting rooms and workspaces. A multilevel "stacked" layout was created to mimic the building’s structure. Using SketchUp, a model featuring ten containers was developed, each providing a clear, unobstructed view for displaying the ten commandments of sustainability.
The model served as the foundation for the poster design. To reflect the film department’s theme, a film crew was added, making the building feel like a set. Nature elements and text were later incorporated to complete the design for print.
The Filter
The filter was developed in Figma, incorporating digital illustrations, and designed as a quiz where participants answered questions related to the 10 commandments of sustainability. This initiative aimed to extend the sustainability message beyond Film.Monks to engage their broader online audience.
